Case Study: Texas A&M University System

The Best Uses for Data Science at Universities

With an SAP BO 4.2 upgrade, TAMUS moved to a virtualized BI cluster environment.  Lacking the horsepower to add necessary users, the CPU architecture was redesigned to increase CPU utilization 20% without adding any licensing. More than 1,700 user profiles containing more than 106GB of data were migrated to the new environment. A development environment was also created. The entire project was completed on budget in four weeks of work.

The best part? Expected 100% ROI within four months.
